cassie + quinn engaged

It was hard for me to complete this post on Cassie and Quinn. Not because of the photos or technical difficulties (although there were several) but because I absolutely adore the faces of these two and there were just too many good images of their expressions!    Cassie and Quinn are some of the funniest nicest people in Portland, and possibly the world!

portraits in discover park

I met Rashaun while working at Anthropologie in Seattle and have since kept in contact.  She is a truly awesome, hilarious, and beautiful person.  And now I can say she’s the one who introduced me to Discovery Park, which I had never been to while living in Seattle.  Such a wonderful place.

will + jill engaged

Will and Jillian are just about the most beautiful couple ever!  We met underneath the St. John’s Bridge in Portland and had an amazing time.  I like these two a lot.

Look for more of this fun-filled wedding coming soon!

the best friends a girl could have

What can I say about this photo session, besides this is a colorful illustration of an awesome friendship.  Who wouldn’t want to spend the afternoon with these Seattle girls?

the rector family

You may have recognized this family from a post a year ago from here, a fun portrait session at Sauvie Island.  This time I met the Rector Family at a vineyard in SW Oregon.

dustin + laura getting married

Dustin and Laura got married at a beautiful inn in Big Bear, CA.  During the Old Hollywood days, Clark Gable honeymooned at this inn and frequented the vacation spot often.  I’ve known Dustin and Laura since before high school and I love them both.  Not only was I fortunate enough to photograph their wedding, but I was also honored to help plan and stylize the wedding.  These are amazing, kind-spirited, and good-humored people and their personalities are what make the photographs.

Dustin + Laura: Photobooth

Dustin and Laura created a photo booth backdrop and a set of props for their wedding reception and it was so great to see their guests go nuts!  Good friend, Joe Hewes who assisted in videography for the day, stationed the booth.  To see all of the images from the photo booth CLICK HERE.  Dustin and Laura will soon have all the hi-resolution images available upon request.

sneak peek: little esther

I’ve taken portraits of Esther before, about a year ago in Portland.  Now she’s growing up quick and turning into quite the independent little girl, with a strong opinion on her personal fashion.  I like her a lot.
